I must admit, I had really never paid attention to these terms until tonight.
I just received an email from the Admin of the Warrior Forum (a great forum for internet marketers, by the way) and they highly recommended a new ebook on how to get Social Book Marking Traffic.
Now, I know that if the admin of the Warrior Forum recommends something - it has to be good.

Working moms vs stay at home moms. In the old days, that was a raging debate BECAUSE in the old days, dad was bringing home enough bacon to fry up in that pan of theirs and mom stayed home to raise the kids.
That was this...this is now.
With the average household income hovering at about forty three thousand dollars, and the cost of living screaming ahead with reckless abandon, many, many thousands of moms in EVERY state have HAD to go back to work to support the family.
Even with affordable day care alternatives, moms still must pull out of the carport right along side dad and wave to the kids from the car as they pull away to earn money.
But a growing number of moms have very intelligently been searching for and finding work at home opportunities. In fact, the internet is now getting more crowded with "Work At Home Moms" seeking their rightful place among the ones and zeros in cyberspace.
And many of THOSE moms are discovering what hundreds of thousands of others have already learned and that is that there is money to be made online.

to be financially free in this generation. Many of us have chosen to deny our fates
and to choose a life full of success, by choosing financial freedom over financial security.
While most know that on this journey, we have all learned that success is not a destination
it is a journey. By mastering the keys to be financially free, one knows that it is very
important to know how to create residual income, or passive income. Residual Income simply
means income that keeps coming in month after month, week after week, continually without
you doing any work to keep it coming in.
A great example of Residual income would be when you invest into real estate, and then you
rent it out to a tenant, and every month he pays you income. This is a way most people in
this world have decided to choose to follow their destiny by letting real estate be, their
vehicle to creating residual income. You could also join a network marketing company, work
with them to create a business, and after you become a success, most of the time what you do
in the beginning will continue to pay you, long after you stop working.
When I was in college, I was approached by a man who told me that if you want to feed a man
for a day you feed him a fish. He then said if you want to feed a man for eternity, you
teach him how to fish. So how do we fish, well most of us already know how, but it is
that desire to stay financially secure that keeps us from moving forward. The ether that which
is located between your ears, is what I would call your financial genius. If we could only
learn how to use this ether in a constructive way, we would be able to reach our impossible dreams.
So is college required to be financially free, the answer is no, but nevertheless it is very
important, because it could teach you things that may be helpful for you in the future. As
I said before, Success is not a destination, it is a journey. For all of those who are trying
to find a way to earn residual income and or passive income, the internet is full of great
ideas. So instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, you must first discover your reason why.
What do I mean by reason why, well I mean, what is the reason why you want to be successful.
If you don't know why you are trying to be successful, then your success won't get very far.
Some think, it is easier for the rich to get richer than it is for those who are poor. Well I have
observed the very direct opposite. It is just as easy for the poor to get rich as it is for
the rich to get rich. When you have nothing to lose, and everything to gain, the only place to
go is up. But when you have riches, and you are too afraid to lose them, than you can only think
to yourself, well what if lose these riches. Those who are on the journey to be wealthy, know that
if someone was to take away all that they had today, they could start again tomorrow and gain
it all back one day.
Feed a man a fish, you feed him for a day, teach him how to fish, and you feed him for life.
All of you who are struggling to find your way, try starting with searching your mind, and
look for what you enjoy doing. You have to focus on your dream and your reason why and seek help often. Find a good mentor, and volunteer your time, to learn everything that your mentor
has to teach. Soon your financial situation will change and if you are following the right
mentor you will know. Choose to be financially free, instead of being financially secure, and learn
how to create residual income starting today!

4. Write down what you think your true desires are -- to be, to do and to have. You will be surprised at your answers when you just let it flow from your pen instead of your mind.
5. Contrast really works! Close your eyes and think about what you really want in life from #4. When you have a clear picture in your mind think about never ever getting it. Feel your disappointment and feel your pain in not getting what you want in life. Let that pain sit with you for a minute. Next, take a deep breath and think about really getting what you do want in your life right now and living it today! Feel your excitement, feel your joy and feel your happiness. Take these powerful positive feelings with you and get what you want NOW!
6. If goal setting doesn't work for you forget it! Use targets instead. If we do not accomplish a goal we feel like failures. If we miss a target, like in horseshoes or golf, it only makes us want to try harder and we do! Plus, if you come close to a target you can still feel success.

Not long ago I was in your shoes. I retired from teaching to commit to the most important full-time job of all, being a mom, but I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit in me waiting to explode out. The time was right and I launched an online business, enabling me to stay home with my two children.
When women become moms, their passions, creativity and talent don’t disappear; they just get placed on hold for a while. Soon, many moms find a desire to express themselves in other ways. They have this “There’s got to be more” feeling. Perhaps it is a hobby you enjoy, music, art sports, etc. Do you say “When the kids are in school then I’ll start…?” Finish the sentence and you have your online marketing idea.
The mom marketing opportunity is tremendous.

After you have identified your passion you must research any competition and see if it is a viable business idea. Go to a few websites and get a feel for what each site offers. If there is NO competition, you may need to rethink your idea as there may not truly be a market for you.
1. Write a business plan. What kind of business is it? Give a detailed description of the business and its goals. Identify your target market. Describe your marketing strategy. Explain financial operations.
2. Organize. How much time will you invest each week? Schedule it. Write down daily, weekly and monthly business goals. Maintain your own office space.
3. Branding. Make your business name something you love and easy to spell. Come up with a tagline/logo. This is how the public recognizes you.
4. Website-Domain name must be easy to spell and remember. Make sure it is available. Your website design must be easy to navigate and easy on the eyes.
5. Marketing- This will make or break your business. Get the word out. Network. Advertise. Word of mouth. Buy a good marketing book.
6. Knowing it all – you don’t and you never will. Just do it anyway. Ask for help. Most mompreneurs are more than willing to help.
There are challenges, of course.
* As every mom knows it’s hard fitting 25 hours into a 24 hour day. The number one challenge is finding the time to wear 3 hats every day; mom, wife and mompreneur. Block out your time, make it work and you’ll be glad you did.
* Rest. Moms don’t need rest... at least that’s what the world seems to think. But you do. Don’t stay up late every night. Get your sleep; otherwise your family life will suffer.
* There is an initial financial impact, especially at start-up. Expenses add up fast. Make sure this business is a family decision and the costs are discussed upfront
* Time with your husband. Don’t forget him. His support is essential. Now and then surprise him with a secluded retreat with just the two of you, no kids, and no business, just romance.
Moms don’t have to sacrifice their family life to pursue their dreams anymore. This investment in time now will deliver tremendous benefits to you and your family down the road. Plenty of moms today stay at home. After a year of battling the decision to quit my job, I finally “put my foot down”, as they say, and returned home to raise my daughter.
It wasn’t the easiest decision, but, let me tell you, it sure wasn’t the toughest! I enjoy every minute of being home to raise my child. Furthermore, being home has done wonders for my family as a unit, and drawn us closer together. When I was working my full time job I barely had time to prepare a decent meal. But today? I’m a health nut, and so is the whole family (ha)!
But now, there’s another dilemma.
Being a stay at home mom has not affected my personality, of course, so I still have a lot of creative energy pent up inside! I thought to myself one day, “what better way to use this energy than to work towards a goal—perhaps start a business?” Not only would it bring in a nice supplementary income for my family, but having a business (or craft or hobby) would enhance my creative skills and strengthen my business expertise. I call it the project of my lifetime.
The first thing I did was a little soul searching to seek God’s direction for the type of business or project He would have me to embark on. I realized right away that although my personality was suited for several types of business ventures (selling crafts, designing websites, or providing secretarial services), I would soon either have to narrow it down to one choice, or start a business that combined all or most of my skills and interests. For me, choosing the right business was the hardest part. Once I settled on freelance web design and writing, it soon became my ultimate goal to find out as much as possible about these particular industries.
In my thought, education and information is what separates the amateurs from the professionals. My goal was to be a professional in my field. This is where networking is highly important.
If you’re like me, the internet is probably one of the very best tools you can use for research. Not only is it a few feet away from me as I embark on my daily chores, but I keep my computer on at all times. Thankfully, we are using a broadband connection and can stay online 24/7 without having to worry about tying up the phone line. This, I should stress, is very important for moms who have businesses that require them to be online quite often, but who will need access to the phone as well.
Once online, I begin my networking research by going to a search engine. My favorite one is Google (www.google.com) just because of its enormous searching capabilities. As a former library assistant, I can attest that Google is highly recommended in the academic and librarianship fields. I search for information in my fields using as many search terms and combination of terms as possible. With each result that I feel is important to me, I visit its webpage and bookmark it for future reference. Once I’ve bookmarked a bunch of pages, I go through each of these websites and study them, taking notes on what I feel is important to me in my field. I promise, you will find contacts this way, and it will be so much easier to network once you have a list of people whose companies and organizations you have researched online.
In addition to an internet search, I feel that it is also important to find any books or other publications that are related to your industry. Study them and find out more about the authors. Find out if they have websites and how to reach them.
Now that you have a compiled list of contact people, it’s time to work the list! Before contacting these people individually (they are probably very busy), see if they offer newsletters, or other mailbits. You are looking for information on how they got where they are today. Remember, you are the amateur. They are the professionals. So, any information you receive from this contact list regarding their biographies and information on the field itself is important enough for your notes. Take plenty of notes, and keep them in a file folder. Every time you find a new piece of information on your subject matter, drop it in your file folder. And finally, if you absolutely need to contact your list of professionals for more information, I would recommend sending an email.
But don’t forget about networking with fellow amateurs! You can make some of your best friends and closest contacts online by joining mail lists such as Yahoo groups or MSN groups. These groups along with technologies such as Instant Messenger make it easier for you to find people with similar personal and professional interests and literally network with them on a regular basis. You will find out so much about your industry and probably learn more from each other regarding your profession than in any other way.
Last but not least, be sure to network with the most important contact of all: your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Remember that it is He who gave you the passion and the calling, and it is He who will be with you each step of the way on your new journey.

I have studied success principles for years. A long time ago I asked myself, "Why are some people more successful than others? Why do some people seem to have all the goodies and rewards of life, while others seem to struggle?" I have found there are certain success habits that successful people have: setting goals, thinking about what you want, and more. But I have also found there is one success habit, above all others, that all successful people have, and that habit is TAKING ACTION.
If we're concerned with making money online, then we need to realize the importance of taking action. It's the key to making the good things happen. We need to charge forward, we need to be proactive, we need to initiate. You can't make money online by just thinking about it. You've got to take action. That's how you're going to make it happen. The great scientist Albert Einstein said, "Nothing happens until something moves." That something that has to move is you!
Most people know that they must take action if they want anything to happen, yet they don't take action at all. Why is that? I think a big reason is people fear risk and they want a guarantee that the action they take will automatically produce the result they want. Get that type of thinking out of your head. Realize there are no guarantees that an action will produce the result you want. That's life. Don't get too preoccupied with it. Just keep taking action, see if your actions are getting the result you want, and if not, keep adjusting your actions until you do get the desired effect.
Look at it this way: When an airplane takes off from Hartford to Hawaii, did you know it's off course the majority of the time? Did you know that that's normal? The pilot makes adjustments throughout the flight, and eventually the plane lands in Hawaii on schedule.
Over the next few days, look around at successful people. Notice if they've got that 'take action' quality. Are they action oriented? Are they proactive? I bet they are.
So, realize that a key to success is for you to take action. In your mind, start seeing yourself as an action person. Be proactive. Make things happen. If you want to make money online, start taking action.
